Maggie is out of surgery and back in her room! She had a 2nd shunt placed in the left side of her head. Apparently the other one wasn't as damaged as previously thought and is working. 🤷‍♀️ the new one is to help with the drainage where the fluid had been collecting (that's how we understand it)

She looks good, swelling is going down somewhat.

Goals for this weekend- back down on the fentanyl, get her breathing on her own so she doesn't need a Trach again, and hopefully get her more awake!
